The Pools~This resort is home to the worlds deepest hot spring measuring in at 1,000ft deep and counting. The only equipment used to measure the spring, also known as the "Mother Spring" was not long enough to reach the bottom. From this spring, the 23 other pools are filled to maintain varying temperatures from 85-114 degrees Fahrenheit.

Pro Tip~Bring your own towel, robe, snacks and water. Pair another spring/adventure with this trip. The Great Sand Dunes National Park was on my agenda however I didn't make it due to a heavy blizzard on my way through the area. The Four Corners is also super close.

Where To Stay~ I ended up getting an adorable AirBNB in the mountains about 15 minutes away from The Springs. It was small, eclectic, and had a beautiful view and wood burning stove. Unfortunately it is currently not available on AirBNB, I will update if that changes.

My Personal Thoughts~ I really liked that this resort had a bar, I thoroughly enjoy a cold beverage while soaking. This place even had coffee/fruit smoothies that really topped off my trip. I also loved that there was a primitive style pool on the premises. I personally prefer primitive pools, but the resorts also have many perks. Please plan trips accordingly, I went in November and encountered a major blizzard on the way back to Denver.
